The following items should be added, to any other list, if you are visiting family

Board games
coffee AND tea
self snack capability
something edible to share (pistachios?)
things you borrowed from family. currently this is a great courses dvd and a smoke pencil
clean the car better than usual

Prone to forget these #

Pajamas
slippers
cozy hoody
rain gear or umbrella
