- a calendar
- phone charger cable
- headlamp
- extra flashlight

- cash (self fee permits, art shows, gun and knife shows, farmer markets, firewood self pay, canoe concession, etc etc)
- exercises, written on a piece of paper
- bar soap

- headphones for hard to sleep times

- magazine: puzzles to do together
- trident gum
- sinus headache pills
- book: fiction, esp short stories
- book: tiny things: essays or poems or images
- sleeping bags, 2

- something edible to share (pistachios?)
- things you borrowed from family. currently this is a great courses dvd and a smoke pencil
- clean the car better than usual
- phone hot pack external battery pack (or car lithium batter jumper)
